Diamond Place, Rangsit - Pathumthani Road Old, dirty, bad smell in bathroom. Locstion would be impossible for anyone without a car. Served its purpose for me as I needed to be in this area. Took one look at breakfast and left! I would definately not stay there again. Probably the worst place I have ever stayed.

Diamond Place, Rangsit - Pathumthani Road this hotel lays in the outskirts of Bangkok near the old airport Don Muang.To visit the city center this is not the best hotel since it will cost you one way +/- 300 bath. To visit dreamworld it is ideal since it is only a 10 to 15 minute drive away. By taxi it will cost you 80 bath. The hotel is on is old, the airco is noisy, the bathroom...well it had a lot of fungus but wass clean. The staff is friendly. This hotel is now since the closure of Don Muang most used by Thai workers who work in the area.Keeping the price in mind I can recomand this hotel but if you want some comfort and some luxe this may not be your place.

Diamond Place, Rangsit - Pathumthani Road We were two nights in Diamondplace Hotel on may 2007 arriving early in the morning after a long flight coming in Bangkok from Zurich, the staff was very friendly and helpfull, they didn t make problem for checking in early and beeing two as I had reserved only for one and at a very reasonable price, (a superior double room) We first got a room with a problem with the shower, they try d to repair and they gave us right a way another nice and comfortable room with satellite TV. minibar, AC, etc. Everything was fine if we expect the fact that the hotel is a little bit far from the center but it is Pathumthani, not Bangkok!Of course, according to me, I can recommend this hotel to any one who doesn t want to be to far from the pollution and noisy Bangkok but who wish to be close to this city.Marcel Morel

Diamond Place, Rangsit - Pathumthani Road clean comfortable helpful staff a good stop off after a long flight.Booked a room for one person, my daughter stayed in my room over night no extra charge even for her breakfast.
