Imperial Mae Ping Hotel, City, Sridonchai Road Old but good hotel.Location of hotel is superb but carpets in room should be replaced. it smells.Internet is not free.No other complaint.room rates are reasonable with sawadee.com.It is value for money hotel

Imperial Mae Ping Hotel, City, Sridonchai Road Overall, a good hotel based on value. The staff was very friendly. The breakfast buffet was good. I think they can invest on carpeting in the room I was in.

Imperial Mae Ping Hotel, City, Sridonchai Road Received warm reception on arrival, very efficient processing at front desk. However, reception refused to help with our return flight check-in. They only pointed out that we needed to hire hotel computer for 150Bahts to do this. It is ridiculous that a hotel this size and reputation does not have at least one computer for use of guests. I have never encountered this anywhere in the worlkd.

I always use Sawadee as I found their price is always cheaper then other website.

Imperial Mae Ping Hotel, City, Sridonchai Road Although the hotel itself is somewhat outdated, they do a terrific job in maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and service so that your overall impression is one of a 4 or even a 5 star hotel. However the real advantage to staying at the Mae Ping is it s location. If central is what you want, then I would highly recommend this hotel. I have stayed at other hotels on my many visits to Chiang Mai and I have yet to find one better in so many respects; the room, service, location and even their breakfast is quite good. For the money, you simply can t beat it!
No problems whatsoever and they were very prompt with all my bookings.

Imperial Mae Ping Hotel, City, Sridonchai Road Large hotel in a good location. However the room are now old and in need of refurbishment. If you want a central hotel this hotel is located close to the night market. Do not book if you are looking for high qulaity accomodation. No value for money. T24 offers the best rates for this hotel.
Booking service was excellent as always.

Imperial Mae Ping Hotel, City, Sridonchai Road We loved the Imperial hotel! The location so close to Night market and walking distance from nice restaurants was great and yet the hotel was located in an area quiet enough to guarantee a good night s sleep. All locals seemed to know of the hotel too so it was never a problem to get transportation back to the hotel. Our room was old and not yet upgraded but it had character. The breakfast buffet was amazing, we have not seen that kind of variety for a long time and we still dream of their steamed rice-coconut cakes...The best part was the service. Everyone from reception staff to bell boys were lovely and eager to help. We felt welcome and well taken care of and ended up extending our stay. This hotel was great value for money and we can t wait to go back to Chiang Mai!
