Very nice place, great rooms (Grande sea view). Good attentive staff, all round a beautiful place to visit. Beach location good but a little far from the main night life area.

A little slow on reply to my date change requests although I think this was because they could not get me a refund when reeduing my stay from 6 to 5 nights (hotel booking agreement - not Sawadee), other than that no issue as usual.

Two coupels from Sweden staid at this excelent hotel. All the staff at the hotel was very kind and serviceminded. The breakfast vas excelent. The rooms greath an so on. Yes we loved everything abouth the place, The poolarea, the beach and the sea. But most of all we loved the staff who worked in the poolresturang and the poolbar.

We had a nice sea view room on the third floor. We had breakfast at the hotel - very good! Staff overall friendly and service minded. Only complain about our stay at KC is the limited number of sun beds. People goes completely crazy - up at six oclock in order to capture a bed. This could easely be solved by having a stock of beds available on the beach.

A very nice resort with good location on White Sand beach! Good big clean rooms. The Air Con was a bit noisy. Good service and facilities. They need to increase the number of sun loungers and it would be nice to have a lounger area at the beach too. The beach in front of the hotel was cleaned which was nice because there were a lot of junk washed in from the sea. The hotel restaurant and bar was OK but slow and a bit expensive. However, there are a lot of other great places along the beach (we recommend Thor s restaurant). The hotel breakfast was very good. We would highly recommend to stay at KC Grande Resort & Spa.

KC Grande Resort & Spa is absolutely a nice and perfect placed hotel, probably one of the best at Koh Chang. My only disappointment was, that when I have booked a deluxe room with garden view I was absolutely not satisfied have have a room, where the view from my windows was to the car park (and wih no garden view at all). But that is my ONLY negative memory from KC Grande Resort & Spa.

Best location on White sand beach. Stayed 4 nights in the superior seaview villas which are small huts right on the beach so the location is amazing. The huts are small and could use some renovation compared to the standard of rest of the resort, do not expect luxury, but they are functional, clean and works if you do not plan to stay inside alot. Considering the room quality you pay for the location and the hotel facilities which are very nice. I would come back.

Loved the hotel! Lived in a very nice room with balcony with jacuzzi and a beautiful view over the beach. Great breakfast for the whole family (2 kids of 6 and 8 years old) and the service overall was really good. The pool area was perfect but the water was a bit to cold which made it impossible to use the poolbar sitting in the pool. The hotel is located at the best part of the beach with lovely sand and view. We will definitly come back!

Hello, we did not find the reservation of the couches on the beach and in the pool so nice, we were before 6 days in the The Dewa a hotel, there has not been such a thing. Also after the breakfast one still got a shady place. We found her hotel very great, but to reserve the couches with the towels, we did not know. This fact that one no nice place in the pool or in front in the Srand agreed diminished the recreational effect very strongly. Luckily we were only two days in the grandee KC Resort and spa. Our family enjoyed the stay at this quaint hotel. Good location and close to main street and beach. Close to other eating establishments. Easy connection to song teaws (local Street buses) outside hotel entrance. Staff very friendly. 2 swimming pools but gym too small and pokey in design. Ferry service from Mainland across to Koh Chang is a lottery if you are not used to being jumped in the queue..! We stayed in a garden villa. Great comfort. Local massage was great. Drive from ferry terminal to hotel was a hair curler. Roads were very steep and slippery due to rain. Take your time when driving over the mountain to at the Hotel.

Nice hotel on a good location. Everything was ok in general, no bigger complaints. The only thing that irritated was that the sunbeds by the hotel swimmingpool seemed to be occupied very early, though there were no one sunbathing. Somebody showed maybe up in the afternoon, leaving the sunbed occupied for half of the day without use.

We´re really pleased with our stay at the KC. The whole hotel breathes relaxation. We stayed 2 weeks in a Gardenview mainbuilding-room. The room was spacious which was important since we travelled with our 16yo son. The extrabed was a real bed -also an important issue. Keep in mind that one side of the Gardenview- building views a small parkinglot We told Sawadee that we didn´t want that side- and it worked! Breakfast was just great. The hotelrestaurants had great dishes for a reasonable price. (Fried noodles or Grilled Shrimps with Garlic and pepper are my favourites). Milkshakes and fresh fruits between the meals yummee!Sunbeds are rear to find after 8 o´clock in the morning. The beach is fantastic with white sand and crystal-clear water. We didn´t use the pool at all. The location was perfect with everything in reach. Restaurants with live-music. Soft and relaxed feeling. We rented a car for three days and went down the coast exploring the other beaches. We also went by speedboat snorkeling halfday-trip with lunch on a Robinson- island . I highly recommend the booking- store on the corner next to seven-eleven, who also did our laundry for 60baht/kilo. Overall a great holiday-place. Bra hotell med trevlig och hjälpsam personal. Vi bodde i den nyare hotelldelen och det var fina rum. Frukosten bra, fanns allt man vill ha och man kunde pressa sin egen juice på färska frukter. Fanns flera mycket bra restauranger längs stranden. Vi var en vecka men det hade funkat att stanna en vecka till utan att hinna ledsna på området om man gör lite utflykter. Gatan utanför finns gott om butiker och det ligger ett 7/11 precis utanför hotellet.

We stayed in the seaview grande deluxe on 1st floor. stunning views. would not to have liked a ground floor room. very spacious, great shower but a bit low for husband...comfy beds. jacuzzi fit two above height persons with space to spare. Overall service wonderful. breakfast was varied and plentiful even at 10:00. did not try the restaurant at other times. plenty of local places on the beach. plenty of chairs for everyone around the pool. just put your towel out early :) We tried the massage and manicure services - not the best but well priced for the ambiance. We went to the disco - only the two of us but the band played all night until 2am! It is the best bit of white sands beach - definitely would recommend.

Staff can t speak english. 20 years old towels. Very slow internet. The pool is falling apart. Not sunchairs enough, had to book chair 7 am if you wanted one. Toilet was broken twice in a week. AC was broken twice in a week. Slow service and cold food in the restaurant. Didn t get the right amount of towels any day during one week stay. Room not cleaned properly. Hard bed. It was impossible to get the right temperature of the water in the shower, it was very hot or very cold. The bungalows are very small and simple. Expensive hotel, not value for the money. Will never stay there again.

A greate Resort on the best part of White Sand Beach! Me and family had 9 days of calmness and stressless with full service and kindness staff. One thing you can improve: The system that every one take towel early in morning to book sun places around the pool is not good. Many people don t even use the chairs and you need to book yourselfe before 7.30 to get a place. Better if every room has about 2 chairs reserved automatically. If not taken before 10 a clock am they will be available for others.

Unfortunately many people at this peak season, a lot of typical unfriendly European tourists who made it difficult for the Thai stuff to keep their wonderful smile. The room was clean and had all expected for a beach vacation. Room size was a little small, 2 peopel had to coordinate the movement a bit to go around the room. Needed more places to hang clothes. There were a few clothes hangers but no peg, hook or bars to hang wet or extra clotheing that people mormally have for hanging out at the beach, like hats. The bathroom was spacious but the shower has no curtain so the whole bathroom would get wet when shower. Also needed more place to hang towels and clothes. There was only 1 towel bar. Easy remedy is to add towel bars and retractable clothesline. Staff was curtious. My husband had his Birthday while we were there. He got a cake and Birthday message written in flowers on our bed.

Отдыхали в период конец октября-начало ноября, гостей было не очень много, особенно русских. На пляже и у бассейна тихо, можно действительно отдохнуть и послушать шум моря. Проживали в beachfront Deluxe villa, вечерами невероятно красивые закаты. В отеле чистая, ухоженная территория, питание хорошее, выбор соответствует уровню 4*. Вечером лучше пройтись вдоль берега и поужинать в одном из множества ресторанчиков на берегу с живой музыкой и шоу. В KC в вечернее время скучно. Номер средних размеров, для размещения 2 взр +1 реб максимум. В ванной комнате ванная, душевой кабины нет. Халаты, тапочки, зонт, кофе/чай- все что заявлено есть в наличие. В номере есть бесплатный wi-fi, но тянет не везде, если нашел место, переставлять комп не следует. Хорошо тянет у бассейна, в ресторане. Просторная терраса с видом на море, двумя креслами-шезлонгами. На пляже нет зонтов и шезлонгов, поскольку он муниципальный, но это и хорошо, никто из посторонних не загораживает вид на море. Гости отеля загорают на шезлонгах у бассейна, что в 10 метрах от моря. Пройдя по морю и посмотрев пляжи других отелей, поняли, что пляж отеля КС лучший (чистый, широкий, с удобным входом в море, без камней).

1. The hotel is VERY nice and beautiful,excellent location. There s a 7-11 right next to the hotel; 2. Excellent breakfast, I would strongly recommend people to eat in the hotel for breakfast, otherwise, u gonna regret; 3. My husband and I really love the swimming pool. We can swim between the sea and pool with fresh water to wash away the salt water b4 entering the pool; 4. Insufficient beach towels.

This is a great location and hotel for a quite gettaway vacation. Service from the hotelstaff is excellent. Breakfast selection good. Poolarea really nice. Rooms small, but that was expected, not expected was the small terrace - no place to spend evenings if you are a party of more than 2. No table or chairs on the terrace of villa (superior room). For us would have been better witrh a larger villa or room in the building since we were a party of 2x3.

The room, facility, hotel surrounding & location is quite nice and easy for stay longer either with friends, family, lover or just yourself. Only pity thing is we have baby stay with us & the air con. seems a little be loud during the bed time. Anyhow I definitely recommend this resort and would like to come back in my next trip to Koh Chang.

great location. phantastic pool, breakfast good, staff friendly and helpful strange the very good offer for thai, (we had to pay a lot more) so many mixed couples took the offer, a big con is the small number of sunbeds.

Excellent hotel, nice hut front-line to beach. A little cramped inside but everything there. Clean towels daily. Short walk to shops, bars, restaurants etc. Not really enough poolside loungers, bit of a panic each morning to grab some, and this was the quiet season. Pool towels provided. Good food in the restaurant.

Good: The beach view, the breakfast, the staff, the pool, the location, the cleanless. Bad: Very small room and the raw sewage passes under the bungalow and flow into the sea During heavy rains, the smells are disgusting

Great location, pool and fantastic beachfront. Bungalow well furnished but way too small. Area around room dirty and smelly and reception staff very unhelpful.

We took the special offer of the superior seaview cabanas. They were a little small, in the bathroom everything gets wet, but they are very clean rooms,located on the beach, which was nice.We could make use of all the other good facilities that this resort has to offer. We really enjoyed their amazing pool facilitiies and breakfast was very good.

what can i say !!! a truly brilliant place to stay, we had a sea view room with jacuzzi on the 3rd floor with an incredible view of white sands and the pool, the jacuzzi and size of balcony are fantastic and perfect for having a whiskey and coke and relaxing, the bed is so big you can lay in a star shape with your other half and not even feel each other, tv is good but who cares about the tv, your on white sands ! the bathroom is lovely, very modern and a choice of 2 styles of shower..thats the room, i myself don t really care if i stay in a tin hut or a room like this, but for all you lovers of the hotel life, you must stay here it really is a pleasure, and not forgetting the breekie buffet is pretty vast and have no complaints at all, they even cook the eggs for you there and then rather than having a batch of half cold eggs sitting there (like alot of hotels do i believe) we never ate there at night, as half the joy of being away is to eat out, beach bbq s at 15 palms and sea food galore everywhere.. awesome, but i must give a shout out to a good friend of mine gin she owns an italian place called ciao at klong prao, i promise you they make the most amazing italian food and pizza you can imagine. incredible considering they are 100% thai. take a visit and confirm my thoughts. basically stay at KC and rent a moped to enjoy the rest of what the island has to offer, whilst always able of coming back to a beautiful room, with excellent staff, smiles and helpful, just don t be ignorant and you ll get treated ok.

the hotel is the very first on white sand beach so it s very easy to reach. it is a private hotel even if there r lots of shops and restaurants around outside. Very long. clean and nice swimming pool is on the same line as the sea so the scenery is perfect and u can be fully relaxed. anyway breakfast is not good as wishes and drinks in the pool is too expensive. Should have been a Happy hour promotion !

Vi var på dette hotellet i midten av mai 2010. Vi var en familie med to barn (3 og 5 år). Vi bodde i leilighet, veldig fine. Renholdet var noe dårlig noe vi gav beskjed om. Perfekt beliggenhet, lå i enden av veien, rolig. 2 gode restauranter rett over veien som har halve prisen enn hotellet. Flott basseng/barnebasseng, fin langgrunn strand. Vi hadde regn nesten hver dag, men dette kom om natten. De siste dagene hadde vi noe regn på ettermiddagen. En flott ferie og Koh Chang var et flott sted å reise til med små barn. Vi har vært 5 ganger tidligere i Thailand.

Хоть и отдыхали в этом отеле в прошлом году, но воспоминания свежи, а после недавнего посещения Карон бич на Пукете, есть, что сравнить. Во-первых, какой это плюс, когда пляж находится прямо у бассейна!! И никто со своим товаром к вам не сунется, и душ тут, и свой спа и ресторан. И платить за лежк не надо, и душ тут же, и полотенец сколько хочешь))) Завтрак лучше ничгде не встречали. Место, конечно, живописное, но тихое... в общем из досуга вечером - только едальни. Готовят оч хорошо! И главное, в мало русских.... в этом году были на Карон бич на Пукете - о, ужас..!! Повсюду бухают.... ну вот не хочу этого в Таиланде! И собственно, из-за таких все в целом в Таиланде портится.((
