Legacy River Kwai Resort, Dan Makham Tia It was a great experience with Legacy River Kwai Resort. Very nice and beautiful Place. And the Service is really good. And their employee Ann who guided us was extremely nice and she really was sweet and made our trip enjoyable by accompanying us to the near by tourist spot. Without any hesitation she arranged our trip peacefully treated us with well manner. In the whole Legacy Resort is a good place only if it was near to any of the tourist place. we wasted one full day because of the distance. The resort is really far far away from the city and in the night there isn t much things to do. after 6 pm most of us are bored to death.

Legacy River Kwai Resort, Dan Makham Tia The grounds of this resort are very beautiful. The bungalows are large & very quiet allowing the sounds of the sourrounding jungle to be heard which was great. However, they are a little tired & the beds are very soft. Breakfast was poor.This resort is a good 30-35 minutes drive from town by car which costs 400 bt each way. This needs to be considered when booking as it makes eating out more expensive. Staying in the resort in the evening is only for people who like to listen to resident band (not so good!) & noisy people. Whilst situated on the river bank, there is no quiet area. It also advertises a floating restaurant but it was not in operation when we were there.Tours are also a problem - the tour companies charge high prices to collect from here.The pool is small but nice. We only used it for a short while but our peace was shattered when a large & noisy tour group arrived. To sum up, beautiful resort in gorgeous location but I would not return.
Booking with Sawadee no problem as usual. They even allowed us to change to this hotel from another which was even further out of town. Did not offer any help with choosing an alternative thought & I think the sites need to be more informative regarding the locations of the hotels in Kwai area.
