Coconut Beach, Haad Khom Bay A lovely, peaceful retreat on the north of the island. Stunning gardens and snorkelling directly off the beach. A friendly family who are keen to help you learn Thai and cook the most incredible food! We have yet to find food as authentic and tasty after a few weeks still in Thailand! Motorbike rental is cheap and they won t rip you off. Cannot recommend Coconut Beach Bungalows highly enough!
Good and efficient although I was initially nervous as there was no secure checkout. As it turned out I had nothing to worry about!

Coconut Beach, Haad Khom Bay Great location, if you plan on staying in one spot. It s hard to get around from here, and to get into town you must rent a scooter, or wait a very long time for a taxi. The beach however is perfect!The owners are very nice, and are willing to help if needed. English is not spoken very well here, and there were many misunderstandings.There was a fight behind our dinner table between the members of the staff, pushing and shoving and yelling at each other. This is a family business, and you must take is for what it is. You also must eat at their restaurant. So don t plan on going down the beach to any of the other resorts for dinner.

Coconut Beach & Garden Bungalows, Haad Khom Bay Basic bungalows, not the cleanest. Good location if you are looking for a pretty beach and relaxation. Easy to get a taxi back from Haad Rin after Full Moon - 200 baht. Staff friendly but not very efficient. Food good but slow to come.
Booking service was good, although pick-up promised but not delivered. Communication problem between booking service and hotel?

Coconut Beach Bungalows, Haad Khom Bay I consider my wife and I to be very adaptable travellers, BUT Coconut Beach Bungalows were stinky, disappointing service, mediocre food at the restaurant. The owner refused to get up from laying down and instead barked out orders to her staff! And she tried to charge more for our room that we had already paid for online. There was no free pick up as advertised, and there was only electricity during the night time. A total disappointment.

Coconut Beach Bungalows, Haad Khom Bay Lovely family run bungalow resort on what we though was the nicest beach on the island. Great snorkeling with coral reef close to the beach and very peaceful during the day - no constant music! Very mellow night life with good food, nice music, games available and even movies on DVD if you want. Staff will arrange taxis to nearby towns if more nightlife needed!While isolated, easy to get around on a scooter which you d probably want wherever you stayed

Coconut Beach Bungalows, Haad Khom Bay When we came they didn t expect us (they did not note our reservation)Our room was given away.The next day we became our beachroom.Very basic.They do not clean the room, you have to ask for fresh towels and sheets.The hotel is out-of-the-way, when you like to visit an other place you need a scooter.You can hire a scooter at the hotel.Not the European standard of basic.

Coconut Beach Bungalows, Haad Khom Bay Nice bungalows and terrace, but- no pick-up (although written in the description)- no internet access (although written in the description)- only few, broken and dirty snorkeling equipment (although written in the description)- no housekeeping!!!Moreover we had a waiter who was most of the time stoned and annoying. Only the cook was very friendly, however the food was expensive for its qualitiy.Last but not least we had cold and windy weather and the beach was flooded. That s why we had to rent a car to go to the south.Taxi prices are incredible high.We will come back because we like Koh Phangan, but we will book something in the south and no more coconut beach bungalows!!!
Owner on site first didn t know that we had booked and had paid a deposit.

Coconut Beach Bungalows, Haad Khom Bay Overall, this place was just OK. It s quite far from any civilization, and takes a good 15 minute motor bike ride to get anywhere. FABULOUS if it s sunny the whole time but might be worth changing plans if it rains.There are only 2 beach front bungalows. Worth it to book them early.
Very helpful. Hotel, however, tried to claim I hadn t paid.
