Royal Lanta Resort, Koh Lanta Yai, Klong Dao Beach Hotel and room were great. I was there for the Andaman Freediving Challenge 2012. I loved it.

Royal Lanta Resort, Koh Lanta Yai, Klong Dao Beach Very good hotel, located on the best beach in Koh Lanta. The room wewr just great and I loved the outside shower. The stuff in the reception was very helpful and spoke good enghlish.

Royal Lanta Resort, Koh Lanta Yai, Klong Dao Beach Fint resort! Vi hade bokat ett familjerum men blev uppgraderade till en svit så vårt rum var stort och fint. Två stora poolområden som var rena och fina.

Royal Lanta Resort & Spa, Koh Lanta Yai, Klong Dao Beach We had a pleasant visit at Royal Lanta, located on the best place on Klong Dao Beach. It was a high class visit, the staff was very polite and held a high level of service. Breakfast and dinners in the restaurant was also top of the line comparing to others at Koh Lanta.

Royal Lanta Resort & Spa, Koh Lanta Yai, Klong Dao Beach Nice hotel. We had a superior bungalow in the garden. Breakfast with a lot opf choise. Good food in the restaurant Hans on the beach.

Royal Lanta Resort & Spa, Koh Lanta Yai, Klong Dao Beach Room was excellent. The resort is very well located on the beach.Service was very average.
Excellent service from Sawadee. All bookings made through Sawadee were as booked and as expected on arrival with no problems.

Royal Lanta Resort & Spa, Koh Lanta Yai, Klong Dao Beach We stayed in a suite just behind the pool. The room was huge with an outdoor shower and a large verandah looking accross the pool and out to sea. The resort was not worth the money in any way. The service at the bar was dreadful, most unhapy staff I have seen they did not even say hello or smile and threw the drinks menu at us when we had to ask for it.- same with breakfast staff - in face we ate and drank else where (next door) the breakfast was dreadful and the whole resort quite rundown. My friend enjoyed the spa and the coffee shop though. The reception staff were very helpful and friendly and stored our bages for 7 people whilst we checked out and went on a day tour then they met us at the dock with our bags and took us to the next hotel in Krabi (at a cost). But this was good as we did not waste a day. The pool on the sea front needs a face lift along with new umbrellas etc. There are huts in the resort near the pool for massages by the beach but were not staffed. The resort was way overpriced, no drink service around the pool - would not stay there again.
