The Bird Cage Patong Guesthouse, Patong Beach I spent 2 nights in the guest house, it s location is good and very quiet. Two things concerned me though:one is we ordered lower floor rooms,but when we arrived in the midnight, be told only 3rd floor rooms were available,so we had to carried four big suitcases to the room;the reception girl who was working during the daytime was very impatient and impolite.Besides these two flaws this guesthouse is good and value for money.

The Bird Cage Patong Guesthouse, Patong Beach We stayed here 4 nights and cannot really fault the place except for the B400 charge if you want to stay beyond 12 noon. For B650, we got a new and modern hotel, HOT water in the shower, very clean, and with friendly staff at the counter. Their English was limited but it didn t matter all that much. It is only a couple of hundred metres from all the action on Bangla Road.The aircon is good, and the TV is cable with plenty of English speaking news and programmes. Reliable booking service to the airport by either taxi or minibus, and they do not rip you off with this as some hotels do. No breakfast, but this is easily obtained outside at any price you want to pay from B50 to whatever. No question - will definitely stay there again.

The Bird Cage Patong Guesthouse, Patong Beach Location ok, close to everything.Rooms are ok. No charge for overnight guests.No showercurtain which means that eveytime you shower the whole bathroom is wet including then toilet..No elevator which is toughn if you´re on the 4th floor.Safetyboxes in the room, they give u a key for the box (stating the combination deosn´t work). I kept notes on my money in the box (after a few days, surprise/surprise...there was 2000Bath missing) no way to prove it... But seems this is somewhat common in these types of accomodation..Really put a bad mood to the whole experience...
booking was easy, however not nice to have to pay for the whole stay before arriving, there are other hotels not requirering this...

The Bird Cage Patong Guesthouse, Patong Beach Love this place, will definitely stay there again when I return to patong. Location is fantastic, close to everything but still quiet. Staff are friendly, and the room was clean and new. Request a room on the lower floors if you don t like stairs!

The Bird Cage Patong Guesthouse, Patong Beach The Bird Cage Patong Guesthouse is a small hotel in one of the side streets near the beach. I remember that from the safe room (!!!) was stolen more than 1000 dollars and then the hotel staff had lost all interest to us. If you want trouble, and a wonderful pastime in the police, then you will here.

The Bird Cage Patong Guesthouse, Patong Beach Lived in the economical issue. The room has no windows. Very noisy. After a 2 meter with might and main construction works. Disruption of hot water. No elevator. Breakfast is not available. Water is free. Valuables and money should not be left even in the safe room - staff steals. In this area, many hotels cheaper and better.
