The Island Resort, Chaweng Beach very nice place.. it was my third time there.. very good location.. food in the restuarant needs to improve.. very nice service from reception... will visit again

The Island Resort, Chaweng Beach Booked the 2 bed bungalow and could not have been more pleased with the island. Room was spacious, with 2 large bedrooms and large living room. Set in beautiful tropical gardens just steps from the beach. The island is on a shallow naturally protected area of the beach. This was ideal for our 6 year old girl as the currents further up chewing beach can be strong, Also had pool and children s pool. Could not fault the resort which is great value for a resort on Chaweng beach as they have all become overpriced. Will definitely return

The Island Resort, Chaweng Beach We had a good time at The Island ResortThe sunchair on the beach and the pool is not good, repair them.the housekeeping was not good we were missing towels many times.

The Island Resort, Chaweng Beach great stay like always ! Stay there for more then 10 years, during the last years 1 or 2 nights on my qay to Panghan. Good service, qiet, nice people, close to the beach, 300 m from the main road Chaweng, but very silent.
Booking with sawasdee since 10 years, always worked perfect

The Island Resort, Chaweng Beach We have been in Thailand eleven years, and we have never stayed at such a bad resort! The Bungalows were old and sunky. We found also track after Mices, and the bathroom smelled real bad! The beach was not for swimming, and you had to go 2-300 meter for a swim.The staff couldn´t english either.My advice: Don´t book this resort!

The Island Resort, Chaweng Beach Friendly staff and good rooms that were adequate although the bathrooms were a bit lacking. We only booked 2 nights as this was a stopover. A bit spoilt by some drunken Irish guests who returned to their rooms at 0400 ad spent the next 3 hours arguing. Can t blame that on the hotel but in Chaweng Beach at Samui that s what you can expect I guess. The massage ladies were lovely and are very recommended.
